Detoxification
So if sugar is toxic for our bodies, what can we do to remove the burden and finally feel better?
The answer: Detox.
It’s a good idea to detox your body occasionally to rid it of these toxins so it doesn’t become overburdened to the point of no return. Too much added sugar can cause inflammation which can lead to premature aging, fatty liver disease, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, depression, and some cancers.
Detoxing will help you regain control of your body and reduce impulses to eat sugar-laden foods. It will also reset your taste buds so you can taste the true sweetness that is found in naturally sweetened fruits.
When embarking on a sugar detox it’s important to keep in mind that you will you be avoiding white sugar, brown sugar, fructose, honey, agave, Splenda, etc. Additionally, you will avoid all refined grains which break down into sugar once they enter the body.
Our 28 day Renew Food Plan is just what you need to help kick that sugar addiction and get your life back!
